THINKING THROUGH ACTUALITY

This artist book is my bound Thesis for Dartmouth’s Studio Art Department. Filled with monoprints and cutouts, this coptic bound book explores memory, narrative and inanimate personality. The shapes change and repeat as one flips through the pages. My artist statement is laser printed inside the back cover, “I used to be a little superstitious. If Idid not sleep next to my sister, I thought it bad luck. I did not clip my nails before competitions or big tests. I feared crinkled paper and olives…”
